About 10 years now Kenuba Link & Entertainment has been organizing events, parties, club shows, concerts and indoor/outdoor festivals throughout Copenhagen, Denmark. But all these were done under a club called Rust Natklub, before officially coming out with an Official name over 4 years ago. Then few months later created another brand called Afro Dancehall Events Cph, follow my Afro Latin Events Cph, then finally Afro Distortion Cph, all these are still co-parented by Kenuba Link & Entertainment. All these were for the love of music to a great fun experience of my guests. It all started when a young ambitious guy (Nigerian by origin) moved from London, UK to Copenhagen, Denmark to study over 10 years ago. Shuttling between Sweden and Denmark, I and my colleague at that were deeply sad in the music and entertainment that we kept seeing. Then we decided to work together to make Afrobeat, Afro Music and Dancehall (the genre we loved) a noticeable in Copenhagen. Although Hip Hop/RnB was the dominating at that time, we still did our best in the one club that gave us a shot but never embraced our kind of music which was Afro music.Hence, with all set back from venues and uncommitted partners, l decided to go solo and re-branded to Kenuba Link & Entertainment with the creation of the other branches, the firm has grown into a leading production, event planner, promotion and entertainment organization in what was neglected before. I am proud to be part of the people who have found a voice this genre of today and glad the many are now benefiting from it. Thus, from Hip Hop and Reggae/Dancehall to Afro, l have done it all! Although, I still host and promote other genre aside of Afrobeat like Hip Hop/RnB (Old and new school), Latin (Reggaeton) and Caribbean (Dancehall); I am proud to be an ambassador for Afrobeat and Afro music.
